Owl feathers

"Every person is a special kind of artist and every activity is a special art."
- M.C. Richards in Centering

"When we try to pick up anything by itself,
we find it hitched to everything else in the universe."
- John Muir

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science."
- Albert Einstein

With that, I'm off to play and sing - happy weekend to all!

Happy weekend to you MB. I love your quotes. I will hang on to the first one in particular, but the other two are pretty damn good as well. :-)

Self-winding is a post about art and artists.

I mention the Muir Woods in my last day posting.

C'n I come sing, too?

Thanks, all. Glad you enjoyed the quotes. MC Richard is an old favorite of mine. Yes, I had a good weekend... I played hard -- no time for snowshoeing this weekend due to a practice -- and saw that Mick Jagger can still dance (as well as he ever could... And to think they weren't going to let anyone over 50 into the mosh pit - what's up with that?!)

Love all 3 quotes, but especially the Muir; no one ever sees it that way, especially concerning themselves!

Thank you!

Oh, zhoen, I'd love to sing with you!

Alan, I think it is difficult to see the world that way, but terribly important. Not just ecologically, mind you, but amongst and between ourselves, in my view.

Josephine, yes, and why is it sometimes so elusive?
