So far away

in a dream of stars
shone a beloved face

reached for that hand
across empty space

could not span
the cloudy distance

before a rippling
disappearance

suddenly woke
still steeped in aching

found and lost in
dreams and waking

cool, otherworldly image for this evanescent poem. i like the way the trees seem to be reaching as well.

I love this photograph, it captures night and the flash of awakening so well. A lot of longing in the poem, the way a dream fades before morning.

Stunning photo...I love your words completely, but that photo knocks me over!

On my Adorama wish list is an infrared filter for my Nikon. I remember seeing some IR (film) color shots that did things like this years ago.

Thank you, always!

last evening looking out into the heavens, i saw the midnight blue, Ble, midnight, I smiled. And thought how could I capture this on film...
And here it is in this post. Perfect true and holy.

I want always to remember this. Something you can't bear to remember, but can't bear to forget.
