Still light
sparks fly
through my dreams
smoky air
keeps the
light golden
your touch left
a trace of phosphorescence
on my skin in
glowing blue lines
that don't fade
in dusky light
through my dreams
smoky air
keeps the
light golden
your touch left
a trace of phosphorescence
on my skin in
glowing blue lines
that don't fade
in dusky light

Nice!
The powdery purply-blue of ripening plums that disappears when you pick them and rub them is here for me, only it doesn't disappear into the glossy sheen of the plum's skin but marvelously remains, a "phosphorescence" of "glowing blue lines /that don't fade."
very pretty very pretty.
Yow.
Chill bumps from this one.
Whew, need to go calm down now.
(P.S. -- Thanks tons for your high-sign about The Festival of the Trees -- and for the neighborly comment while my 'puter was puny.)
Who needs pics when you have great words!
