Prima donna vera

30-24

Two days ago it was eighty degrees. Today it snowed.

Spring's coming in, wrapped in chintz and ribbons, weaving her
way, all hiccups and ruffles, green buds in her hair.

Kia ora MB,
I am enjoying the many contrasts of your photography, and your poetry. The Trees and Tracks photos, the desert, the flowers...,
kia ora for the variety of beauty.
Noho ora mai,

Yes, hiccups and ruffles. :-) Spring's at that gawky adolescent stage, sometimes a young woman and sometimes going back and playing with dolls.

The Botticelli one does look rather like she's got hiccups, I'll never see her quite the same again!
Gorgeous.

Such a rich color!

84 in my backyard yesterday, thunderstorms and hail last night; 29 and 31 for lows coming late this weekend!

Poor tulips...and the leaves on my tulip tree as well!

Keep your eye on the sky, my friend! And thank you for the kind words...

I discovering your blog and this flower'sphoto is so delicate and intense ...it's like a petticoat!

Thanks, all. Spring has made an odd entrance here.

Mireille, bienvenue. It is not a poppy. I am not certain, but I believe it is a type of carnation. It was in a bouquet from flower shop. Like a petticoat, yes.
