Kia ora MB,
A window to the shadows. Very cool, and as always so much going on there. Cheers.

Mysterious and almost scary, interesting title! A new direction in your imagery, perhaps?

Thanks, all, for your responses.

M-L, this was definitely not intended to be scary, though I understand now it might be interpreted that way. In my thinking, it had more to do with exploring the metaphor of windows — light and shadow, visible and not visible, penetrable and impenetrable, intimacy and distance.

As in "fenestrated endothelium", very important in kidney filtration or in German...Das Fenster "the window". I like it! Thanks

A wonderful word for you: "pleach," the interlacing of tree branches against the sky. Thank you and you're welcome.
