Stunning! So unusual in black and white. Love the middle one.
It's the first one that does it for me :-)
I want a vacation... such a place.
Kia ora MB,
love the black and white, such a different contrast to such beautiful country and so much left to the imagination.
Noho ora mai,
Robb
we can hardly wait to visit - zion, bryce, and arches national parks. so many places we have not yet seen. light is captured so beautifully in black and white. an old roommate who is a photographer by education and practice once photographed only in black and white.
Wonderful. The first one is my favourite too.
Oh, I remember Zion National Park from a visit in 2000! The last one in particular takes me back there. Thank you for these!
the first one reminds me of black and white infra red film...and the title kind of refers to it what with the infra red lightwaves that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
Enjoying your photos tremendously.
Thanks, all. I've always loved black and white photography because of the way it represents the light and I suppose, too, as Robb suggests, because of what it leaves to the imagination. In this situation, to my way of seeing, removing the colors was a way to do justice to the forms and light.
Sky, you are headed for some spectacular places.
Light is love, and love is inside me to see love outside me, which makes those photos even more beautiful.
Pretty gutsy, to do Zion in b&w. You're good.
I love black and white landscapes, these are beautiful
Dave, I'm no Ansel, but I did have fun.
Thanks, everyone.
