i don't know why but when i view your blog lately there are huge blank spaces between text and photos. do you see it the same way or is it the format my computer is displaying of your blog? i don't notice this on any other blog.
Kia ora MB, Beautiful as usual. I spent a spring in and around Portland back in the early 80's. It is one part of states, weather wise and geologically that reminds me of New Zealand. Cheers. Rangimarie, Robb
I hope you are happily neglecting your blog (I am guilty of committing some of the very same neglect!) and not unhappily neglecting your blog. That is, I hope the thief of time and art has not returned...
looks like the blog is permanently over, but I wanted to say happy holiday wishes to you. hope life is filled with all your favorite things and that you are enjoying your writing, wherever it is you are writing. may 2009 be one of good health and great joy for you and those you love.
Kia ora MB, I too just wanted to stop by and wish you a Merry Christmas and Yuletide Season. I hope one day you share your wonderful prose, poetry and photos once again, but thank you so much MB for what you have shared thus far. Kia kaha! Aroha, Robb

Dale, that's pretty much what I thought. Spring in Portland is amazing.
Sky, thanks. I'll try to figure out what the problem is. Thanks for the heads up.
Z, we seem to be getting similar weather patterns. Hot and dry here, too.
Anonymous, your words paint quite a picture. Yes... I miss the rain.

Very beautiful!
Loved the owl story and the poem below as well...

Colours to make the heart sing.
What do I like best, inside-out blue or shadowed peach labyrinth? Or intense artful spatters on white?
Such wonder!
Thanks for checking in on me, MB. xx
