Me too! It's beautiful in all the senses.
congratulations!
Bravo well deserved!
Confetti, mb! I shall go look.Oh, and I think the little green Martian squares are gone. Thanks for bugging me!
Congrats! I want a nice fresh fish for lunch!!!
Beautiful and intimate. If everyone brought food to their senses with this much grace, it would be a totally different world.
You are ever mindful of the fish, its life, your life, ending its life, beginning your own, and maybe the thin line between you is not even there.
If I could nominate a laureate...I can't think of anyone better!Congratulations!alan

Gheers for you and for them for publishing your poetry!
Congratulations! Am heading right over to read it. Hope you are doing great!
Oops--almost forgot to come back and say that I liked much of the descriptive language in that poem.A good addition to the large and philosophical tradition of Literature of Fishing presided over by Izaac Walton! And I like the longer length as well.
Wow! This poem would be even more fabulous when read out loud...LOVE the title--"what begins"--!

A poetry writing practice, near-daily. Write and don't look back. Break open the shell. It's harder than it looks. And it's not as hard as it seems.
