So true.
I really think it is. I read this quote to my child because I wish someone had said something like this to me when I was young. To me, it cuts through so much bull that we're told (or, that I was told).
I didn't read your comment till today. As a mother about to give birth any day now, I thank Whitman, and you for this precious gift of wisdom before she is here.
