Owl feathers

"Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery that it is. In the boredom and pain of it, no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it, because in the last analysis, all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace."
— Frederick Buechner

"Color is the keyboard, the eyes are the harmonies, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key then another to cause vibration of the soul."
— Wassily Kandinsky

My apologies to those blogfriends who haven't heard from me — Blogger has been difficult the last several days, irregularly interfering with commenting at some sites, including this one.

I will be out of town and offline this coming week. Off to find some sun. See you the next week!

Enjoy yourself and your family while you're away... precious moments. Relax, laugh, savour. Perhaps the muse will be kind and nudge you to write too. That'd be nice for us. Be thinking of you- *hugs xo

MB,

Blogger has been naughty of late. It seems to be fixed for the moment, however. Hope your getaway goes well.

I hope you found just the right angle of magnificient healing rays to sooth your soul to ripe perfection. I can't wait for warmer weather here. The garden calls, for the first time in years.

Thanks, all, for a lovely welcome home!

Firehawk, I'm glad to hear Blogger has been behaving better! And thanks, I did have a good time.

Snowsparkle, I missed you too! This blog and those connected with it have become a little part of my daily life.

Leslee, welcome back! I hope you had a great trip. You've certainly got some colorful photographs to show for it!

Patry, as it turned out, I did almost no writing at all. Too busy with other things. But they have their own function in restoring balance, too.

Garnet, thank you for the lovely wish. I'm so happy to hear that your garden is calling and I imagine you have some work to do after the removal of the tree! What a fun challenge that will be.

Sky, thanks! I've missed you, too. Not lots of rest but lots of fun was had. Though change itself is a kind of rest after all, isn't it?
