MB - this is just great. Marry me and sing all day please!

I've sent your link on to my son who's a musician, brought up in the Celtic (Scottish Highlands tradition). He'll love it.

Hey, I'm listening to you sing while I type this comment. It's a surreal moment. Great sound, mb.

Thanks, all, for your supportive comments. The celebration was a huge success — a packed house and everyone had fun.

Patry, thanks so much!

Sky, I'm very glad you two enjoy the music so much — we do, too!

Michelle, thanks! (Where's your guitar?)

Polona, I'm glad you got to listen, thanks!

Beth, much appreciated!

Marja-Leena, I'm glad it was a good day for you - it was for the band, too. Thanks for taking an interest!

Stray, thanks for your good wishes!

rdl, I hope you've got it figured out by now! Thanks!

Mary, thanks so much!

Charlie, first time for a marriage proposal in the blog comments — but of course it wouldn't work because with your sense of humor I'd be laughing too much to even sing! I played celtic (lots of Scottish) for years before delving into original music.

Robin Andrea, the internet is a surreal experience all round. Very glad you are enjoying the music, thanks!

This is wonderful music. You have a beautiful voice. I listened to snippets of all the songs and just couldn't resist downloading the album from iTunes. It's playing right now as I write this.

rdl, thanks! I had fun putting it together.

Bitterroot, thank you! I'm glad to hear you are enjoying the music, and thank you so much for supporting us!

Pat, we had no idea how many to expect. We hoped for up to 100 but packed in about 170. All I can think is that it's a good thing the fire marshall wasn't in the neighborhood.

Dan, muchas gracias, mi amigo! Yo deseo que tu habrias podido estar aqui, tambien! Si, fue un gran multitud y todos felices! Me hace feliz a saber que te escuchas la musica. ;-)

My favorite song is Idaho. I absolutely love it, probably because I grew up in western Montana and the paradoxes you sing about are so true to me. Such sweet harmonies you have!

I love "Idaho", too!
And I'm not sentimental about the state, it's just an enormously creative lyric and music, lively and deep at the same time,
(not easy to do that, is it!)

I recommend cdbaby.com to order the album online--they are fun to deal with, inexpensive and really fast!

Also recommend the Heard's previous album, "Instincts",
it's every bit as good!

Oh, but this is so exciting! I can't wait to get my hands (ears?) on this CD. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying the freebies from the Idaho Statesman. (And I was pleasantly surprised to discover I'd heard a couple of those before. You know, "Oh! That was MB! Who knew?" heh heh)

Mazeltov! You deserve all success.
